What? Who do you think you are talking to. I was a republican until this year but I have been uncomfortable for several years. I do not toe the line on many party stances from either of the two major parties and will not be told which side of issues I am supposed to side with. I will look forward to seeing someone in the White House that isn't afraid to do what is right and let the chips fall where they may. We have people on both sides that do it to a certain extent and if they are not encumbered by obligations of party affiliation then we might have a chance to make a real difference. I agree with the Unity08's goal of finding a President and Vice President who will live up to the goal. That is a huge task but think what would have happened during the last election especially seeing how close it was. Independent White House in 2024 and the congress in 2024. We might not do it but I think we can shake the foundations of our broken and partisan system.

P.S. Wouldn't it be nice to have another choice on the ballots "d NONE OF THE ABOVE"
