I have been a big fan of Bill Richardson for a run at Unity08s ticket in either stop. But this article tells me that he as governor of New Mexico has signed off on legislation to essential eliminate independent for the ballots in New Mexico. I spend a lot of time in New Mexico and Las Cruces particularly (college Alma Matre) and I am sure these acts do not represent a moderate view or a popular view.
He can not get himself on a New Mexico ballot as anything other than a party candidate and Democrat. Texas and Ohio already had such laws.
If Bill Richardson seeks our nomination, he owes us a why?

Changed my mind about Richardson. He was someone I was considering but that's gone. He is a wolf in sheep clothing. For the party not the people. I wish it was somewhere in the constitution that making it near impossible for a non-party candidate to run for office should be unconstitutional.
