human rights vs citizens rights
the judicial system seems to get the two confused.......
Thomas Paine in The Rights of Man typified this as "applying the principle to practice". "The laws of every country must be analogous to some principle" he argued. Without a proper mechanism by which our values are given expression and our rights afforded protection they remain intangible. Principle, as is demonstrated in human rights violations going on around the world today, offers no practical protection unless it is analogous to the law ( &, hopefully, enforced ).
aka ~ laws of the land............(& perhaps even their enforcement ~ radical, i know)....:-)

A GREAT DAY FOR FREEDOM. TODAY, A JUDGE RULED TWO (2) PORTIONS OF THE NON PATRIOT ACT UNCONSTITUTIONAL. ONE OF THESE HAS TO DO WITH WARRANTLESS SEARCHES. ALSO, A COURT IN BRITAIN HAS DECIDED THE NEW RULES THAT BLAIR HAS IMPOSED TO UNDERMINE THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS ARE ALSO ILLEGAL.
WHAT A GREAT DAY IT IS FOR THE U.S.CONSTITUTION AND THE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS OF THIS GREAT NATION.
