The "draft effort" should be limited to a specific length of time. The candidate subject of the draft effort is then allowed a specific amount of time to review all germane draft input results. The subject may then formally elect to withdraw or to participate by notification to the directors.
Unity08 is looking for a different kind of candidate; one who's word is trusted. If a draft effort candidate says they do not want to be a candidate that should be believed and the individual withdrawn from the draft. Let us not play the political game of saying one thing and then seemingly changing our mind when all along we were looking for converts to our cause.
A list of the top 20 candidates should be posted and seen via the home page. Also, a list of all the nominees should be listed below the top 20. If a candidate stays on the top 20 for a specified period of time they should be contacted and asked directly if they are willing or if they decline. If they decline, their name should be sent to another list of declinees, but if they are willing, their name should be tagged as a willing candidate.
Upon requesting that I be removed from Unity08's delegate rolls and have my commentary removed so as tofully remove my support for this organization I received the following email from the Moderator. That it is impossible to remove oneself from this organization is a significant breach of internet etiquette which, sadly I cannot allow to continue.

John,
It was your choice to post on the site. It is not our burden to tidy up after you.

Unity08,
You haven't completed this task nor complied with my wishes as of this writing. Please do so immediately. I do not want for my name to be associated with the devolving discussions on these pages.
You attention to this matter will be appreciated.
Kind regards,
John E. Kaczmarowski

I had no problem removing my old post on this site when I thought them extraneous. Can't think of why I would ask anyone else to do it for me. I am a little more conservative on the ID, and maybe a little more open to the development pains of new ideas.
Bill"for what we are together"
Why did you wish to remove your posts? Why are the founders posting nasty little messages instead of just respecting your wishes for privacy?
Very strange...
It was Kacz's decision to post here for many months -- and often we bit our tongues when he did so, believing that to censor him would be to stifle the discussion we sought to create here.
It is hardly incumbent on any web site operator to remove the posts of someone who has done so completely of his own volition just because that indidivual has decided he doesn't want to post anymore.
To do so would be a courtesy, one we'd happily extend to nearly anyone. But Mr. Kaczmarowski has behaved in a bullying and belligerent manner -- on these boards and in private e-mail exchanges and phone calls -- and so we decided to let his hysterical over-reaction (evident in his new screen name, not to mention multiple similar posts he plastered all over this web site in the past few days) speak for itself, rather than troubling ourselves with removing messages that he posted voluntarily and without the urging of any of us.
For now.
Seems that you spend more time arguing with delegates than supporting or listening to their views. This isn't a way to garner broader support. And given the kind of discussion that comes out of your (DC?) office, I would hate to get on your "bad" side.
Besides, the screen name (aside from being kinda funny) doesn't do you any good.
In fact, after a couple of weeks here, I am questioning my need to continue.
Good luck with this, it appears as though you'll probably need it.
Agreed, Annie. But this is a two-way street. I've tried to offer responses to your posts and to start a dialgue with you and everyone else here -- stipulating up front that I've previously been derelict in my duties to be responsive to this board.
But you've got to decide if you want to meet me halfway and move forward, or if you want to cling to your (understandable) frustration with what has taken place on this board and continue to critique each post I offer.
I'm making plenty of mistakes, but I'd genuinely like to get a real discussion going here -- a civil, intelligent one that hopefully moves beyond procedural questions and arguments.
Up to you whether you want to stick around for it.
Giving your last few posts some more thought, and seeing how this "organization" is so far disorganized, I've emailed the web team to remove my account from your active list. I should hope that I won't see any vituperation a la "kazc" should I happen back here.
Good luck folks...
Annie, please stick around. Its pretty obvious that we are early adopters here and they are not quite ready.
The kacz thing is as much kacz's fault as anyone else's, indeed I suggest that the kacz situation is really no one's fault.
I have every faith in Doug's campaign strategy, my proposal concerns establishing the leverage it will take to Get Our Agenda Adopted By Congress .. When We Win !!
Delivering on a promise to "Take Back Our Country" Depends on our ability to overcome Congressional opposition to our reforms, my plan - can accomplish that ..
If for some reason - you haven't got a copy of the plan, let me know and I'll send you another copy.
Give my regards to Doug, Anya and Matt

I read a lot of economists works and a lot of them support Ron Paul here is a sample:http://www.merkfund.com/merk-perspective/insights/2007-04-27.html
RP, if you continue to post off-topic comments promoting Ron Paul or any other candidate, your privileges will be revoked. This is a place for a discussion -- not a place to post free ads for the candidate of your choice.
Perhaps we could go with: "No means No."
