Online is good. Offline is key.
What things can we do in meat-space to help people find and connect with Unity in the meta-verse?

I'll start with ...
Can we use the Unity08 logo (the one with the URL on it) and print it on peel-n-stick labels?
When you move around town, put a sticker up where other people have posted handbills, notices, and lawn sale signs.
Do NOT stick them on cars, traffic signs, or other places where they might be construed as "vandalism".
Your turn.
Maybe this is just me, but rather than cover the world in ads I like the idea of organizing. The simplest way in this forum is to just start a thread (like this one) where people yell for other people and see what happens. Like this:
Anyone in San Diego, CA who wants to start organizing in "meatspace" should contact me at jenniferforunity /AT/ g^m^a^i^l.com
(That was an example, but I'm serious, if you're here and want to get organized, email me! If only one or two people end up contacting me we can just bounce emails and see what we see. If lots do I'll set up a mailing list and tell everyone how to sign up for it so we can all start plotting together.)
Another way to find people who *aren't* involved in this site would be to try going to MeetUp.Com . In a sense it already proved itself useful for organizing as it was one of the main ways Dean Supporters found each other last time around. If you set up your keywords right you might be people's *introduction* to the Unity Party which is a double bonus in terms of spreading the word.
I haven't had time to start a MeetUp group in SD because I've been working on this hub site for supporters of the Unity Party. If anyone takes me up on the MeetUp.Com suggestion they should also email me and I'll stick a link to them on my website.

Jennifer, have you spoken with Andy (awilson@unity08.com) or Shilpi (shilpi@unity08.com) about getting ballot access petitions started in California? If not, please drop them a line.
Thanks for your hard work!

Jennifer has done a bang up job with her efforts and should be commended. As this space expands and grows, more support sites that link back to Unity will help generate "google juice" and that's a good thing.
One of the challenges is that we need to make sure people are aware of the Unity movement and Jennifer's idea is a great one.
But it only works for people who are already online. While 73% of Americans have internet in their homes, that still leaves about 25M households that don't. I'd like to see if we can get those folks to maybe go to the library and check out the possibilities ... and we need to do that the old fashioned way.
The first thing you need to do is put up HTML code that people can put on their own websites that link back here through a Unity08 logo button.

It's been there all along.
As edgy and interesting as an internet campaign can be, it will not spread the word in my neck of the woods. Something has to tell our locals where to tune in. I drive 150 miles a day. Where can I get an old fashioned bumper sticker?
If you include a mailing address, you can request a bumper sticker when you sign up.
I would like it if the forums were better organized and meetups had links on this website. The more energized we can get, the better
