Unity08. A people's movement to take our country back.

It is always hard to get on the ballot, the illegal monopolies of the democrats and republicans do not like competition. Well, I recall a party in New York that joined the Reform Party movement.
Unity 08 may be wise to ask the third parties to join in the effort and make the change so that we have a viable third party.

I am the Florida State Chair of the Veterans Party of America.
I am quite confident that if Unity 08 makes the right effort to help
the Veterans, Policemen, Firemen that the Veterans would be willing to be a part and help make ballot access a reality in Florida.

Congress let the Gulf War Syndrome appropriation drop, they now have
to get signatures to reinstate it. It should never have happened.
The Central Florida Veterans Hospital had the funds in 1992 and Congress voted for the money to go elsewhere. 15 years later they are
now starting to build the hospital. 15 years Veterans have had to do without and they are the ones who served America and risked their lives so that all could be free. Congress did them wrong.

Seniors get a low cost of living increase, yet Congress gives themselves a COST-OF-LIFESTYLE raise every year. They sure don't deserve any raise, when they get 22 weeks vacation a year and only work for 103 days.

We must unite and get people to run for office, or we won't have an
America to call home. President Bush started to work on that in 2024.

I saw the Face The Nation Interview...kuddos Sam! You held your own and you got guts (OK, I'm a long Law & Order Fan), but you do better with a script...at the end, the other talent was face to the red light and you looked like you were reading your krib notes. Just an observation (I couldn't do what you do).

My biggest question is...can a mixed ticket work? So, let's say your candidate wins. So what about the Senate and the House? Is he/she/white/black/yellow/purple going to be effective or will they be a lame duck at the beginning?

Very scarry thought for me.Whose left to prosecute the criminals that got us here?

I kinda like the idea of switching parties, just to screw up their primaries and let life go on as it has been.

I was born in 1952...this IS not the America I grew up with (which was bad enough, given Viet Nam), but change is good. I miss being pissed off and telling Nixon "Hell NO!").

I long to reboot the good ol' USA to the point where the rest of the world looks at us in respect and wishes to be our friends again.
