Like most European countries(U.K., etc), why doesn't the U.S. limit its presidential campaign period to "X" amount of months(not to exceed a one year duration)thus saving tons of money-not to mention the sanity of the thinking public who must endure this constant, meaningless dribble, that more and more deals with everything but the relevant issues!
