2 step confirmation

Any one who wishes to decline a nomination should be able to do so. No one should be forced to do something against their will, or choice.
But, people do change their minds.
So, I think they should be able to put their nomination on hold for 30 days. To consider it, without harassment or prodding, And, at any time in those 30 days they can lift the hold and run with it. But, at the end of 30 days, a choice must be made, and they can become a full fledged candidate or their name is removed completely for THAT election. No questions asked.

This is America, yes?
A. I f someone doesn't want to run they don't have to.
B. If their heart isn't into it. And they are not fully committed. I don't want them representing me anyway.
