Candidate that truly believes they do not want to be nominated for whatever reason should state there reasons succinctly and without leading the nomination to believe they would reconsider for other reasons.

If reps of Unity08 approach a candidate with evidence of wide support for a candidate on two or three occasions and come away with a straight "NO" answer, then the candidates name should/could be removed. The decision should be announced to the membership.
If a cndidate who has wide spread support does not wish to run he or she should need only to post a statement to that effect on the web site. Something like "If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve".
Why expend precious time and resources attempting to convince a prospective candidate to "Hear the Peoples Voices", if there is no interest in being a candidate. It should be simple, "no" still means "no. Don't we want decisiveness in Unity08 candidates as well as future leaders of our country ?
WE ALSO MUST PROTECT THE PROCESS, A CANDIDATE SHOULD BE FORMALLY NOTIFIED THAT THEY ARE BEING CONSIDERED AND SHOULD ACCEPT OF DECLINE FURTHER EFFORTS IN WRITTING
