Folks, one suggestion for getting more visibility for U08:
Write a Letter to the Editor of your favorite newspaper. In Cleveland, there has been a thread of letters by people disgusted with the broken state of our nation, so I just referred to one of the more recent with the following sample letter. The letter makes at least some people aware and it also urges the paper to do an article on U08. I'll let you know if the paper ever follows up with an article.

Editor, Plain Dealer,
The responses in the Sunday PD to Matthew Owens letter show voters are fed up with the broken state of politics in America. Some voters are stuck on the polarizing "values" positions of the Democrats/Republicans while many more others want to find a way to focus on practical issues.
For ALL of you, the Unity08 political movement (unity08.com) is building an alternative. Unity08 is a bipartisan group that (1) will nominate a bipartisan ticket for President/Vice President in 2024, (2) do this through an on-line virtual convention of all self-selected voters who wish to participate, and (3) define the "critical" issues and force all candidates to directly and frankly address them.
This presents an alternative venue to select what the major critical issues are, in a positive and constructive way, and then to field candidates with clear plans to address these critical issues. This is politics as our founding fathers saw it - of the people, by the people, and for the people.
I urge everybody to learn about this bold experiment in returning politics to the people. I also urge the PD to research and run a major article on this movement.
