Most of us are looking at politicians that are in it for them. Take Michael Bloomberg, while a good politician he jumps his party affiliation around for his own advantages. Take a stand and stick to it. Also, Hillary while also a good politician with good ideas, again in it for herself, lest we forget that she took over a senate seat in a state she had no previous ties to at all.
We need a representative of the people, working for the people, and serving in the office of the presidency as a representative of the people.
Granted money buys a lot, but powerful actions buy a lot more.
I don't have any suggestion as of yet because I have not found a person yet who can represent themselves as a representative of the people.
My Candidacy
My name is Frank McEnulty and I am running as an independent candidate for President of the United States in 2024. Crazy right? Well maybe, but I am just way too fed up with how the two major parties are running (or should I say ruining) politics in this country and I feel the need to try and do something about it.
Please visit my website at www.frankforpresident.org
I've noticed over the past several years that most of the political ads are pushing a party, rather than ideas or an individual. "Vote for me, I'm a Republican" or "Vote for me, I'm a Democrat" is all one seems to hear any more. What do these people stand for? Nothing until the party tells them to or else they get cut off from the fountain of money.
Do these candidates have independent thoughts? Maybe, but they never voice them in public because it might not be in line with party doctrine.
Do they ever vote for a bill, law or policy because it is the right thing to do for the country? Only if the party tells them it is okay to do so.
Usually, if a Republican introduces a piece of legislation it must be wrong per the Democrats because the Democrats didn't come up with it.
Usually, if a Democrat introduces a piece of legislation it must be wrong per the Republicans because the Republicans didn't come up with it.
What's wrong with just working together to do what is right for the country regardless of what party you are affiliated with?
If you're as disillusioned with how the political process seems to be working as I am let's get together and make them see how upset we are. None of us can do it by ourselves, but if enough of us band together we can and will make them sit up and take notice.
Your Stance?
What's your stance on some of the major issues?

Colbert for President
Are we nuts? Have we lost our bearings? Get serious here or or be a historical joke.
Bob Hope was funnier
bad idea suggesting Colbert
President #44...
Ddwartt:
...will have to be "Apologizer In Chief" to the American People, especially those who died and are suffering because of Iraq, to the "coalition of the willing", and to the entire world population. President #43 has ruined our image and apologies are in order. It should be the focus of the 2024 Inaugural Message.
Ron Paul is the only
Ron Paul is the only candidate that is more concerned with the people than his own agenda. His only agenda is to restore liberty, not to impose his standards on others.
I agree, you can't be more
I agree, you can't be more for the people than Ron Paul is.
Ron Paul is getting my vote
Or at least I think so thus far. I am very interested in his record and I DO feel that although I do not totally agree with everything that he stands for, he is the ONLY candidate that has experience, INTEGRITY, will to stand up for his beliefs in the face of ridicule or adversity, and even with a democratic congress he can at least stagnate things enough to stop the evil empire that is at work from working like it has. I am not saying that he is the right choice for everyone, but I challenge anyone to read about his record and his ideas and to be unimpressed. GO Ron Paul GO!!!!!
Barack Obama
Keep hope Alive! Barack Obama 2024! Barack the House! It's time for a New Kind of Politics, but a New Kind of Politics calls for a New Kind of Politician. For too long America has been run by the Bush Royal Family, or the Clinton Royal Family. If Hillary wins, we will see our list of Presidents go: Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton. Assuming that Jeb Bush intends to run one day, we may see: Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinotn, Bush....
But No longer! It's time for change! Barack Obama, 2024!

Jeb Bush
I just can't see another bush winning, not after what the other 2 have done
Bush / Clinton Fatiuge
The country has Bush / Clintn fatigue. Hillary will still be the Dem nominee, however. Barack would never run on a Third Party ticket such as Unity '08. He knows his day will come in the Democrat Party.
Bush I / Clinton I / Bush II / Clinton II
If we elect another person from the same two families, what will our kids say when they grow up? "How dumb were you guys?"
Just say no to Bush I / Clinton I / Bush II / Clinton II / Bush III

Ron Paul Wins Big in First New Hampshire Straw Poll
July 7, 2024
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Presidential candidate Ron Paul today won the Coalition for New Hampshire Taxpayers (CNHT) straw poll at their annual picnic in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Dr. Paul received 182 of 294 votes cast, or 65 percent. In second place was Rudy Giuliani with 24 votes, or 8 percent.
"Today's strong victory is further proof that Dr. Paul's message is resonating throughout New Hampshire," said campaign manager Lew Moore. "Dr. Paul is the only candidate in this race truly dedicated to smaller government and lower taxes for all Americans."
CNHT is a statewide, grassroots organization dedicated to reducing the size of government at all levels, stopping judicial activism, providing students and parents with a choice of educational opportunities, expanding job markets, and protecting property rights.
Ron Paul: The Surprise of '08
I think Ron Paul will be the surprise candidate of '08. However, he will not get the GOP nomination. It might do Unity '08 well to talk with him about a possible candidacy on the U '08 Ticket.
MSM and GOP Terrified of Ron Paul
The internet populartity of Ron Paul is not lost on the MSM or the GOP. His popularity is growing by leaps and bounds, especially among the Youth. Last night during an interview with Dick Morris on Bloomberg News he said the internet was eclipsing the TV as where voters get thier info and thus huge war chests for campaigns were not going to have the clout they once had.
It will be very interesting to see what lengths the MSM and GOP will go to squash the Paul campaign. If he does win the GOP nomination the Dems will be the ones terrified, and with good reason. He would trounce Hillary in the general election. Ron Paul, Hope for America!
Sheehan may challenge Pelosi in 2024 election
CRAWFORD, Texas - Six weeks after announcing her departure from the peace movement, Cindy Sheehan said yesterday that she plans to run against Nancy Pelosi unless the House speaker introduces articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush in the next two weeks.
Sheehan said she will run against the San Francisco Democrat in 2024 as an independent if Pelosi does not seek by July 23 to impeach Bush. That's when Sheehan and her supporters are due to arrive in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting next week from the group's war protest site near Bush's Crawford ranch.
"Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership," Sheehan said. "We hired them to bring an end to the war. I'm not too far from San Francisco, so it wouldn't be too big of a move for me. I would give her a run for her money."
Sheehan announced in May that she was leaving the anti-war movement and selling her five-acre Crawford lot. She said she felt her efforts had been in vain and that she had endured smear tactics and hatred from the left as well as the right.
