  • Your ideas make a difference

Over the past week, I have given several ideas of what we can each do to get active in our local communities and online to help Unity08 reach its goals to relight America's torch.  See those blogs here, here, here, and here.

I have several others, but I'm interested in what you think.  Have a great idea?  Let us know:

More reasons why we need to join together to take our country back:

Help Unity08 get on the ballot in Maryland!

    Attention Old Line State Residents:

Help us relight America's torch and get on the ballot in Maryland,  It couldn't be simpler!  Go to the Volunteer section of our website and download a petition form here , get your friends and neighbors to sign it, and mail it back to us.  We need to collect 10,000 signatures: can you commit to collect 10, 50, or 100 signatures?  Let us know, and post your ideas and success stories below.

Bobbie's Story: What we can all do for Unity08

I promised more ideas on how to help Unity08, but first I wanted to share an email I received this morning:

Want to help? Want a job? Here's How...

Unity08 needs your help, and that help can take many different forms.  We have a few main tasks right now: recruit more members and raise Unity08's profile (those efforts feed into one another), and get on the ballot.  Do you want to help on a full time basis?  Check out our jobs page at unity08.com/jobs.  Want to help but can't do it full time?

Adding issues to the New American Agenda

Our members asked whether they could add certain issues to the vote on the New American Agenda. We thought it was a great idea. A few weeks ago we asked them to submit issues. We compiled those issues into a list and took the ten most requested and placed them into a poll. This poll was announced yesterday in a 10 Minute Tuesday campaign.

Cuomo & Kean in the NY Daily News

Mario Cuomo, a Democrat and the former governor of New York, and Tom Kean, a Republican and the former governor of New Jersey, published this supportive Opinion-Editorial in the New York Daily News this past weekend.
