I don't know if many of you noticed, but the prices for food have been drastically increasing in the past few months. Breweries have been shutting down because no farmer wants to grow wheat anymore! Most farmers are turning to oil because they see $$$ in selling corn for ethanol. Does anyone else see a problem with this? Ethanol could be made, more efficiently if I may add, from grass to garbage for crying out load! It would be cheaper and more efficient to produce, so why in the world is no one fighting to prevent America's obsession with corn ethanol?
Another thing that is very efficient is SOLAR ENERGY. It might cost a little more in the short run, but in the long run it would be great, not only for the environment but also on the war against terror because it would prevent terrorist from getting funding from their main source. What do you guys think? If we don't stop this corn mess right now, America's economy will spiral out of control at an exponential rate and than no one will be able to save us.
