What does "Balancing our Nations Budget" mean when our debt is over a trillion dollars?
When our nations debt has now surpassed a trillion dollars, does anyone truly believe balancing the budget has any meaning. Reducing the size of government hopefully would begin reducing our debt which in turn would get us back to a budget in sad need of balance. Today, in the news we hear Alan Greenspan admit we have a 50% chance of a national depression. What's the consensus among you? Is not the main underlying concern of most Americans the lack of fiscal responsibility in our nations Capitol/Capital?
