Unity08 needs a strong ticket that people know to have a fighting chance of winning. The reason I propose Al Gore is because he has experience as a member of the executive branch (Vice president for Pres. Clinton). Also, he has good communication and compromising skills.

I picked McCain because he brings a lot of experience to the table. He also has good communication and compromising abilities. Another great quality about both these men, especially for Unity08, is that they are very much centrists. They can see both sides of issues and reach suitable compromises.

To me it would not matter which one of them were to run as President and which for Vice-President.
