Centrist Candidates Reach Out
We need to focus on a list of Possible Legitimate Eligible Electable Centrist Candidates (PLEECCs) NOW that have proven records of working across Party lines and who have TRUE Political Courage to tell the Hard Truths and discuss/address the tough hard nation-buster issues we cannot kick down the road any longer. This group is exclusivley devoted to these. These MUST be candidates that can realistically, courageously, and pragmatically synch up what this nation "ought to" do with what it "can do".

Direct Democracy
Submitted by B. T. Marking, SD on Sat, 11/03/2007 - 7:58am.The primary issue must be restoring the power of the American citizen over their government. The Citizenry must become the fourth and most powerful branch of government. To accomplish this, we must demand the right to vote on issues of national concern, like we are doing here at Unity08, but those decisions must be binding on the other branches of government. Consider the path described in the proposal below --
Amendment XXIX
Unity08 Candidate Richard H. Clark
Hello!
Welcome to the Richard H. Clark for President group.
I welcome all questions, and all points of view.
You are talking to me, directly. No middleman or cut n' paste.
Here, it's personal.
I will be as straightforward and direct as possible.
No wishy-washy side-stepping here.
No beating-around-the-bush.
You get answers.
Thank you for joining!
Sincerely,
Richard H. Clark

Mythbusters
The famous 19th century writer Mark Twain was a sharp fellow. He composed a lot of clever adages, and amongst them was the following:
"It's not what you don't know that will hurt you. It's what you do know that just ain't so."
This group is a resource in which we should catalog the common soundbites, claims, and "facts" that aren't facts. Round 'em up and let's tear the veils off them. Let's get down to the truth and find out what's fact and what's fiction!
