I found the title Gay Mairraige somewhat deceptive, as there are many other issues concerning homosexual inequality in America, including:

-Gay people in the military and the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy

-Gay parenting couples and children. Adoption by gay couples has been legalised by a small and increasing number of states. In some instances, however, parents found to be gay have had their children taken by the courts.

-Gay people in the workplace. In 31 out of 50 states, employees can still be fired on the basis of sexual orientation.

Obviously this is in no way a comprehensive list, but I believe these to be at least worth mentioning and would love to hear input and dialogue on these issues.
