Presidential politics often gets distracted by issues raised by the party base voters – issues which don't seem crucial to most voters. Unity08 members will adopt a very different system by using their votes to set the New American Agenda which the presidential candidates will be expected to address.
These rankings and the questions that our members deem important to ask the candidates in regard to them make up the Unity08 platform.
Our member issue rankings below show the 5 issues they consider to be crucial to the future safety and well-being of the United States.
American Agenda Ranking Process
There are two numeric values that are displayed with every American Agenda issue, Overall Rank and Included by Percentage.
Each American Agenda issue has an Overall Rank. Currently there are 21 issues so the Overall Rank is from 1 to 21. The top issue is the one most often ranked in a member's top 5. The #2 issue is the second-most ranked in a member's top 5, and so on. Issues farther down the list that may not be included in any member's top 5 are ranked alphabetically based on the issue title.
Included by Percentage shows the overall % of members who included the item in their top 5.
