Why I joined Unity08:

The Democrats look at the world through rose colored glasses and the Republicans have been highjacked by the religious right. I consider myself to be a moderate Republican -- fiscally conservative and socially liberal. There is no longer room for me in the Republican party and the Democrats don't live in the real world. Both the Republicans and the Democrats are consumed by hate for each other.
