With the Clinton machine and Democratic establishment turning out the 'ghost' vote in New Hampshire yesterday, I think Unity 08 should consider an Obama/Keyes ticket, especially if the Democratic machine pulls the same tricks in South Carolina.

1. China - Is China a threat to the U.S.?

At this time I do not believe that China is a military threat to the United States. Although China has a very large army they do not have the capability of taking any large scale military fight directly to us and there have been no indications of any intention to do that on their part. China should be more recognized as a potential economic threat in that they have a huge, hard working population and graduate more engineers and other “development type” of professionals each year than we do by a very wide margin.

A great ticket, plenty of excellent executive experience+ experience with diplomacy and the workings of the legislature as well+ unlimited funds.

Don't really care who is Pres, VP, but I think this ticket would be great.

I feel that it would be inappropriate at this time for Unity08 to discuss nominating candidates in the primaries of the major parties. As a result, although I would like to see several candidates pursue another nomination if they don't get nominated, I'd like to wait until the primaries are over, or they concede, before discussing them. So, at this time, I'm supporting a movement to draft Lew Rockwell as the Presidential candidate. He is not a member of a major party, as far as I know, allowing us free reign in choosing his running mate. I intend to sign on as his principal supporter.

Obama, Huckabee, and McCain

Yes, I read about the 'Sore Loser Laws' (only Ohio's (?) seems to apply directly to a Presidential campaign) but these three candidates all represent the qualities Unity08 claims to be looking for,i.e. the end to "politics as usual".

As I stated elsewhere, I see Unity08 as a fall-back position, should the mud-slinging machines of Hillary Clinton and Slick Mitt Romney sucede in their efforts to demonize these three.
