I suggest that you add a "register" button and a "login" button to the main Unity08 page. Make them big buttons, not underlined text.
There is room on the top menu bar for a login button. This is where people expect to find it. They expect the page that comes from clicking on login to show them an option to register as well as to log in.
The other problem is that the ability to post to any thread mysteriosly disappears from some sites and the reappears hours or days later.
