    In no particular order:

Democrats-- Former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina; Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana; Gov. Tom Vilsack of Iowa; Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana; Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska; Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas; Gov. Janet Napolitano of Arizona; Retired Gen. Wesley Clark; Former Sen. Bob Graham of Florida; Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia; Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut.

Republicans-- Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine; Sen. Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island; Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City; Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee; Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska; Retired Gen. Anthony Zinni.

Independents-- Former Gov. Angus King of Maine.

My personal opinion to victory-- put a rural-rooted Democrat on top and a strong-military Republican as vice president...

My Unity08 Presidential Choice: Sen. Evan Bayh (he won't win because those idiots who run the Democratic Party are hellbent on nominating Hillary Clinton, despite the fact that FORTY PERCENT in recent polls have already said they would DEFINITELY NOT vote for her. Do they want to lose?)
My Unity08 Vice-Presidential Choice: Retired Gen. Anthony Zinni (a critic of the Bush administration, he would be able to advise President Bayh on what is needed to win the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism)

I think everything John Edwards has said is not what he believes, but what he believes will get him elected. That is hogwash.

Also, forget anti-war, it will be over by the 08 election.

Not a bad list, except that John Edwards is pretty far left to be considered a centrist. A pro-war centrist like Lieberman or a gun-grabbing centrist like Bloomberg would have no chance to win, though.

What we need is an anti-war, pro-civil-liberties, fiscal conservative -- a moderate libertarian, but someone who is qualified to be president. This usualy means a governor/senator/general/CEO type. Gary Johnson, the former governor of New Mexico comes to mind.

As for Koch and Goldstein, they are real people, not lawyers (sorry lawyers!) Read more at dave08.com.

Can you provide more info on these two? Are they lawyers or citizens?

Why not choose an already Independent candidate with a clear-cut message?

I rather like David Koch and his running mate Ken Goldstein. They have a very clearly defined message and plan for America that actually makes sense.

I see no real fiscal conservatibe out front of either party, so I think we should lead with a fiscal conservative who is isolationist in foreign policy and socially tolerant.

What ever happened to Bill Bradley?? How about Bob Kerrey!!! And keep Webb in mind if he can't put up with the Senatorial BS. And do not forget Gary Hart and a real long-shot might be good 'ol Jerry Brown!! And Bill Cohen is excellent. Sam Nunn would be great also!!
