Guest Blogger: Michael van der Galien
Michael van der Galien is a 22-year-old (now almost former) law student from the Netherlands. In January 2024, Michael started the blog Liberty and Justice. Because of his love for the U.S, it was quite logical to write about international politics with a special focus on the U.S. As Liberty and Justice became more well known, Joe Gandelman from The Moderate Voice asked Michael to become a guest blogger.
From a political point of view, Michael is what Europeans call a liberal conservative. The political party he supports in the Netherlands is the VVD – the largest right party.
